See link below. Download and uncompress the zipped file, run “remove_crw.cmd
” (as administrator), then reboot the system.
(As far as I am concerned, I found my own solution here)
This will uninstall telemetry-related updates (including those prompting you to “upgrade” to Win10) and prevent them from being installed again.
Unfortunately, if you already “upgraded” to Windows10, it’s too late for you [1]. However, you may block these URLs [2] in your router settings:
(1°) vortex-win.data.microsoft.com
(2°) settings-win.data.microsoft.com

[1] Except with this very radical solution (by default, the final version of this tool will also uninstall Windows 7 SP1 aka KB976932 as it is considered suspicious. This may be circumvented by enabling professional mode in Settings, then unchecking KB976932 box)
