Out to buy a black pen… Guess why? I already signed twice a statement of availability and exclusivity to take part in an EU-funded tender for a consultancy contract. Now I have to sign a third one. If not (within 24 hours), the whole consortium will be disqualified.
The first version (three months ago) was rejected because the template sent by the EU was outdated. The second one (one month ago) was rejected because my signature was drafted with a blue pen, and also because I filled the (required) field entitled “DATE”.
Of course, electronically signed documents are not accepted. A physical paper with handwritten name and signature (black ink only) is required, with the (originally required) date field left blank, sent by post (preferably by express parcel service, because of very short notice after months waiting).
